About

Danielle Hathaway grew up in Rockford, Michigan where she spent her childhood and teenage years as a competitive gymnast and soccer player.

When she wasn’t competing, she spent her free time skiing and ice-skating in the winter and sailing and swimming in the summer.

Danielle has competed in several half-marathons, trail runs, nine marathons and has qualified for the Boston Marathon. Her latest adventure was the completion of her first 50K, where she was the third female finisher.

Danielle recently moved to Seattle after spending the last 10 years in Portland, Oregon. She runs with Seattle Running Club, and even though her roots are in road racing, her recent discovery of trail running and racing has quickly become her passion.

When Danielle isn’t running the streets of Seattle or the trails of the Issaquah Alps, she can be found reading books, watching documentaries about the environment, foreign lands and food, spending time with her fiancé and dog – both named Charlie, and creating marketing campaigns and developing sales strategies for small to mid-size businesses.

Danielle also enjoys yoga, food (both cooking and eating), music, painting, creating vegan skincare products and photography.
