About
Martin is a Czech national team member and World Champion in Cross Country Skiing.
His greatest achievement is the title of World Champion in the course of a 50-kilometer freestyle at the World Championships in Val di Fiemme (2003), which was also the first world championship in cross-country skiing in the history of the Czech Republic.
Other major achievements include winning a bronze medal in team sprint at the World Championships in Oberstdorf (2005) and winning the World Cup relay race in Davos (2007) His hobbies include rock climbing, XTERRA races (3rd place in the Championship of the Czech Republic, 2003), hockey and family. Martin lives in Liberec (Czech Republic) along with his wife Vanda, and two children Sebastian and Sandra.

- Oslo 2011: 8th place 4x10km relay

- Oberstdorf 2005: 3rd place in the team sprint free, 27th place in pursuit
